STAND BY POWER: To meet the emergency during power failures in Metropolitan Cities/ Towns/ Urban and Rural areas of India users of Electricity from EB's( DISCOMS)  have their own arrangement of stand by power sources from UPS/ Small Gensets/ Big Gensets with different fuels/Wood Gasifiers/ Biogas/ Steam turbines. Recently  with invention of Photovoltaic and continuous innovation and mass production prices of solar films project installation & maintenance cost has reduced in wide scale promotion of Solar projects.

STATUTORY SAFETY RULES: As per Electricity Supply Act/ IE Act / IE Rules now as per CEA guide lines & Regulations in INDIA such Power generation is termed as Power by " Non Licensees". CEA/ State Electrical Inspectorate & Area Licensee  DISCOM have laid certain stipulations to monitor & for safety of use of Electricity in public interest. 

GOVERNMENT CONCERN: Ministry of Power Government of India MNRE KREDL and Transmission Companies and Distribution companies are promoting extensive use of Solar Power for heating & lights. Energy efficient LED lights are   replacing  conventional HPSV/ MV / TFL / CFL lamp fixtures in phased manner leading to revolution in the field of home illumination, automation and Public & Street lighting. 

INDUSTRY: SOLAR power  industry is spreading  in different fields of manufacture; assembly; integration and Service and extending in each Taluk in India with the incidence of large potential of Solar Irradiance on an  average of 300 to 310 sunny days for average Five hours a day.  Industry is dependant on cost of Solar film and  Cost & Life of Storage batteries( Raw materials like Lithium)  

TAXATION: Rate of GST at manufacturing & supply level. Electricity tax by State on Solar Power generation for self residential & commercial establishments.  Income Tax  for the income earned by individual home owners, commercial & industrial establishments on transfer of excess day time Energy  to grid.
