New era of hope to Sampaje Valley

 2022 Sankranthi has turned out to be very auspicious to this valley with perennial small streams and water falls of Bettatthur Monnangeri & Madenadu joining the west flowing Noojee Kallu River forming  Payaswini River near Sullia. Right from 1837,the law abiding poor hard working farmers of  this area  have been victimised in Taxation on Revenue lands, geographical realignment,  border resettlement, crop changes, world war rationing, epidemics due to changes in Political Rule & geographical adjustments. 

It is the western gateway of Kodagu District at 146 meters above mean sea level. National Highway NH275 passes in the ridge of the valley. Rain water falling in this valley causes crop damages and erosion of soil causing severe damages to the embankment of the highway. Large tracts of lands on counterpart side of river is earmarked for future needs of infrastructure & road widening by the visionary planners then.

With 100% electrification plan under  the vision & Policy of Government of India  to take Electricity to every house hold,   HT distribution system has been extended in inhabited  pockets of  rain fed agriculture lands of the valley  in Bettatthur, Kallala, Monnangeri, Arekallu, Sampaje Urubylu, Dabbadka, Chembu, HT to LT line ratio is reduced. New Distribution transformers are installed. 

75th Year of Independence - Year 2022 turns out to be  Platinum jubilee year of Independence with  blessings for truly independent sustainable Sampaje Valley rich in its resources well managed.  KPTCL has planned to extend 66 KV EHV transmission line from Madikeri District headquarter and establish 12.5 MVA Electrical substation for equitable distribution of HT & LT three phase electricity to every household of SAMPAJE Hobli. 

Valley has the rich bank of hard working literates, technocrats with entrepreneurial skills. Government of India & Karnataka is laying the red carpet facilitating the creamy layer with high IQ to make use of it and channelise it to the overall development of SAMPAJE Hobli. 

New express highways are being proposed to connect Kodagu with State capital Bengaluru in addition to NH275. Feeder State Highways constructed and maintained by KRDCL are being proposed for improvement. This major infrastructure will open improvement to inter village Roads for better logistics and saving of time.
